The University College Health service through the Health Unit clinic is mandated to promote preventive, curative and promotional healthy services including screening, early intervention and health education, first aid services and emergency services, referral and follow up care. The clinic opens from 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday. In case of emergencies outside the working hours, the nurse is contacted by officers on duty to deal with the situation. Respect of clinic staff is paramount for efficient services. Student are treated on first come first served basis unless in a situation of emergency which the nurse should be alerted about.
